V Amazonian Symposium on Physics took place in Belém

The V Amazonian Symposium on Physics took place at the Federal University of Pará on 18th-22nd November. This fifth meeting celebrated the centenary of the first experimental test of General Relativity, namely, the measurement of light bending by the gravitational field of the Sun, during the total solar eclipse of May 29, 1919. The event had thirteen seminars, nine oral communications, one public lecture, and a posters section. (November/2019)
